Gemworld International, Inc. is primarily engaged in publishing for the jewelry industry. Our premier publication, The GemGuide, made its debut in 1982. The GemGuide Appraisal Software, which utilizes The GemGuide pricing, has been continually improved upon since its acquisition in May 2002.

Our goal is to provide accurate and reliable pricing and reference information to the industry. Gemworld does not buy or sell gemstones. We concentrate on researching prices and helping the industry use that information, which allows us to provide the most unbiased and accurate research you will find anywhere.

In addition to publishing The GemGuide, Gemworld publishes several other titles that can also be viewed in this website. Gemworld's president, Richard Drucker, G.G. is also an appraiser and acts as a consultant to the trade on various legal matters.
